The reasons I'm conflicted

Nestled in nature, the warm and romantic decor created a cozy ambiance! The breakfast was divine, especially that fresh-squeezed mimosa and scrumptious French toast.

But, I missed having a TV for entertainment. The weak water pressure made showers less enjoyable.

We really enjoyed the place and abundant and delicious breakfast in it.

A huge variety of food for breakfast, it was outstanding. My a double room had modern conveniences, including central heating, coffee/tea makers and a sitting area. The location was marvellous and good for traveling around Grassy Creek, very close to the River House and Restaurant and the New River.

I had a peaceful three-night stay where I enjoyed cozy fireside evenings and the very nice breakfast, featuring made-to-order omelets that were delicious, although I missed having a TV in the room.

The breakfast was excellent with freshly prepared choices, and the service was great. The location nestled in the hills of north carolina provided a beautiful setting that encouraged great conversations with other guests.

We loved exploring nearby Doughton Park, where we saw deer and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was a standout for us. My granddaughter devoured the French toast while I couldn't get enough of the mushroom and shallot omelet.

My kids wished for more outdoor activities to keep them entertained.

The beautiful king room featured a hot tub, electric fireplace, and seating area for absolute comfort. Breakfast included made-to-order omelets and fresh pastries for a wonderful start. Plus, the fine views of the New River added to the relaxing atmosphere. Unique dining experiences with a creative menu showcased local ingredients.

The decor had a romantic feel, especially with the electric fireplace that kept things warm. The hot tub was a fantastic touch. Breakfast options blew me away. Fresh-squeezed orange juice for mimosas hit the spot, and the French toast was genuinely some of the best I've ever had. Live music during dinner was another highlight that kept the atmosphere lively. The staff were attentive but sometimes felt a bit rushed, which took away from the relaxing experience. Room cleanliness left a little to be desired. I noticed the carpet seemed damp in spots. Shower facilities were cramped, and water pressure was weak. Although the surroundings were beautiful, I believe they need to address the maintenance of the outdoor areas, as the porch leading to our room could have used some tidying up. In terms of price, dinner felt steep but not unreasonable given the live piano music and overall experience. I loved the charm of the inn but hope they can improve on a few key details to match the lovely setting.

The warm decor and inviting atmosphere made it feel like home, especially the lovely landscaping with flowers and bird feeders with a serene and relaxing setting for our stay.

More accessible seating options would be appreciated.

Excellent breakfast choices. The beautiful riverside views enhanced my stay. Noise from neighboring events was distracting at times. I enjoyed kayaking along the New River.

The hotel staff was very welcoming. The room was delightful and impressive. I enjoyed having books in the room. The location was marvelous, close to the New River and the mountains of North Carolina. It was a useful base for exploring Grassy Creek.

This place offers a double room that comes with a fantastic jacuzzi 🛁. It had all the necessary amenities we required for our stay.
